Updated Spiritual Aging Events, Media Coverage and Offerings
Dear SASS Members,
We kick off this month’s Roundtable with an update on a question I left unanswered a couple of months ago. It was a spontaneous outpouring, more or less a postscript on another subject entirely (“It’s Not April Yet”) but generated wonderful conversation. (As did our February Roundtable! I’m learning so much from you and love how you are supporting one another and me!)
In the post, I told of asking a wise friend how she managed to stay both firmly grounded in the present moment and fully cognizant of reality, including all the unknowns she’s facing and her lack of control over many circumstances. She knows what she wants but she holds it lightly and lets life flow. I want that for myself so I asked her the secret. She said “My plan A is in the process of probably being blown, but I have a plan B that is suitable to my soul.”
I went on to ask of myself “So What’s my Plan B” I wasn’t sure.
Then reading your responses and reflecting deeply, I realized I did have a Plan B suitable for my soul, hidden in plain sight.
