Greetings, Old Souls. This is a challenging spiritual practice in difficult times—but an important one. Please make sure you read the comments below as well as the study guide to be part of this work-in-progress.

This Week’s Reflection
“This week you are reminded that even when your overworked mind argues otherwise, experiencing acceptance in the present moment is possible, regardless of how entrenched the concerns you are facing. Not to say that this isn't a challenge for those of us who learned quickly to start each day surveying the inner and external landscape with one question in mind: What do I need to be anxious about today?
There are those times when waking up is experienced less as a summons to the joy of the day as it is a call to arms. But increasingly, you can be taken by surprise by what is so obvious and true. It is up to you whether to allow the weight of your fear-driven self-protections of the past to drag you back or to take a leap of faith that if you jump off the edge into a larger if more vulnerable life, your wings will hold. It is your choice about how to live.
