Welcome Leaders Circle Members! (LC’S.)
Lately I’ve been thinking about the international nature of my support team and SASS members. My personal assistant is in Croatia (hello Natasha and thanks to my friend Felice in the UK for introducing us!) My website team is in New Zealand. Facilitators and participants chime in from many parts of the globe: Hello South Africa, Colombia and some places I’ve never heard of before.
Because we all seem to be on the same page so often on so many levels, I rarely stop to think about whether the cultural references I’m using so solidly based in mostly North American context—are landing. So first off, mea culpa. Secondly, how do you handle this question when you’re leading international groups? Would love to hear if you’ve attended or led a group where differences came up, were anticipated and/or handled well.
