Sage-ing Invites Us to Take a Deep Dive Together into "Regret: The Ghost of Aging"
“Joan Chittister writes: ‘Regret, one of the ghosts of aging, comes upon us one day dressed up like wisdom, looking profound and serious...But how can it be spiritual insight to deny the good for the sake of what was not? No, regret is not insight. It is a sand trap of the soul.”
You have arrived at this age and stage of your life seeking a spiritual life, a simple life. But there's an irony here as well. Rather than singing with angels, you often find yourself wrestling with them. But it's a divine wrestle like Jacob on the banks of the Jabbok giving everything he’s got to win a blessing.”
– excerpt from Spiritual Aging: Weekly Reflections for Embracing Life.
The Year of Reflection is based on the weekly readings taken from "Spiritual Aging: Weekly Reflections for Embracing Life." The focus for this month's webinar coincides with this particular week's reading: We consider the possibility that just as you need to forgive life for your disappointments, so it is that you are faced with the spiritual challenge of forgiving yourself. SASS groups will build on his foundation moving through the month addressing a diverse series of topics based on each week's reflection.

Hi , I sent 120.00 to your Substack but am not understanding what that entitles me to. I also want to confirm that this is not an automated recurring expense. Please advise.
Thank you.
