For Members Only: First Week of January Year One Study Guide
Celebrating our Launch with Transcending Ambition/Rethinking Resolutions
Welcome, fellow travelers, to the first day of the first week of a new year and the long-anticipated activation of the Spiritual Aging Study and Support Group (Hereafter referred to as SASS.) We celebrate our launch with great news. Last night Kindle elevated my book to their #1 bestselling new release in the aging category. I know I have you, my vanguard of old souls, to thank.
Following is our first study guide, for individual and group discussion. Each one of us was self-selected, an intentionally small segment of the overall Spiritual Aging community of 2000 committed to deepening our spiritual aging in the company of like-hearted and life stage-related peers.
In addition to reading the entire reflection for the First Week of January in our text Spiritual Aging: Weekly Reflections for Embracing Life and working this associated study guide below, I encourage you to converse with me and one another in the Comments that follow. I hope you will dig in from our very first Study Guide to help set the tone for the degree and depth of our interactions going forward through this year of study and support together from the get-go.
Your next weekly study guide will be sent to you January 5 (“Second Week of January”) and every Sunday thereafter. As soon as we’re comfortable with commenting to the study guide posts, I will initiate a mid-week forum I’m naming “Campfire Chat” where members will be invited to share whatever’s on their mind and in their hearts.
Here's to growing older, wiser and fiercer together in the new year! Shall we begin?
