“How you age is not a problem to be solved but a spiritual choice.”
Old souls from around the world are forming Spiritual Aging Study and Support Groups in preparation for the December publication of Spiritual Aging: Weekly Reflections for Embracing Life Both affinity and facilitator-led groups will gather in-person, on Zoom and online throughout 2025 to discuss the reflections in the book using a synchronized online study guide published week-by-week only on Substack.
HERE’S HOW TO JOIN IN
The options range from drop-in groups to immersive year-long weekly commitments via in-person, online postings and/or Zoom. Mix-and-match your engagement as you feel called. Everything is based on the same book ensuring that while there is room for creativity and innovation, we will all literally week-by-week be on the same page.
1.) Online Spiritual Aging Study and Support Group (SASS) on Substack.
Spiritual Aging is launching a SASS that will meet 24/7 beginning in January. Pledge to become a member to receive the Spiritual Aging Study Guide that will be published here exclusively on a week-by-week basis through 2025. For a preview ”Why Aren’t I Enlightened Yet?” click HERE. Members will be invited to post comments, ask questions and raise related issues stimulated by each week’s guide. These exchanges are by posts only. For those who would like in-person or interaction on Zoom, read on.
2.) For a live, interactive Zoom option: Sage-ing International…
The leading international organization in the fields of conscious and spiritual aging kicks off their immersive study and support group offering A Year of Reflection with a free December 3 webinar: Intro to Spiritual Aging: Deepening the Conversation. This first of the monthly webinars provides a launching pad for Sage-ing’s new year-long program working with my book and guide throughout 2025. I will personally lead each of the monthly online Zoom sessions. In addition, participants have the opportunity to join smaller SASS groups on Zoom led by Certified Sage-ing Leaders bi-weekly. (For a total of 3 times/month.) There is an option to attend individual monthly sessions. To register for Dec. 3 and learn more click HERE.
3.) For a woman’s only live, interactive Zoom option: Spirit of Sophia
The visionary women’s spirituality center will host the year-long A Gathering of Old Souls, a Spiritual Aging Study and Support group for women only. I will lead the monthly SASS on Zoom, the first Thursday of every month we meet from 12-1:30 pm EST. We will have 2 sessions requiring a 5 months commitment each: January through May and July through November of 2025. I have been leading a cohort of wise women who form the core of this group for over a year and look forward to deepening the conversation and expanding to include others. MORE ON SPIRITUAL AGING
I specifically designed Spiritual Aging: Weekly Reflections for Embracing Life to be read weekly in two-year cycles, the 120 readings focusing on the issues and concerns that arise among those who view aging as a path to spiritual culmination. From transforming loneliness to solitude, loss of identity to freedom, anger to self-protection, fear to faith, and envy to love and more, this is the advanced class.
